- October 2016: ISO TC214 committee meeting held in Paris – attended by Peter Wenn
- May 2016: ISO TC214 committee meeting held in Seattle – attended by Peter Wenn. ISO TC214 is a new international committee which has undertaken to provide guidance on the standardisation of MEWP controls, layout, functionality and control directions. This committee has representatives from Sweden, USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Australia, Singapore, and France. Standards development continues through the year and participation is an excellent way to keep abreast with the latest International trends.
- June 2013: Peter Wenn attended the annual ISO TC96 (Cranes) series of standardisation meetings hosted this year by PKN Polish National Standards in Warsaw, Poland. TC96 consists of 9 Subcommittees covering Design Principles, Bridge and Gantry Cranes, Jib Cranes, Mobile Cranes, Cranes Condition Monitoring, Lifting Devices, Wire Ropes -selection and use, Test Methods and Terminology. Countries represented include China, Japan, USA, Canada, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Russia, South Africa and Korea, Australia is the secretariat for SC9 Bridge and Gantry Cranes and a participating member on a number of other subcommittees. Standards development continues through the year and participation is an excellent way to keep abreast with the latest International trends.
